About PalRoute
Who runs PalRoute, where its Palworld breeding data comes from, and how to tell the verified numbers from the community estimates.

What PalRoute is
PalRoute is a free Palworld breeding calculator and Pal reference. It answers two questions the game itself never shows you:
- "What do these two Pals make?" — pick any two parents and get the exact child.
- "How do I breed the Pal I actually want?" — pick a target and get every parent pair that produces it, plus a tree you can walk backwards generation by generation.
On top of that it covers all 299 Pals, all 115 passive skills, and the question most passive lists skip: can you actually breed that passive onto this Pal, or is it locked?
PalRoute is built and maintained by an independent developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pocketpair, Inc. Palworld and all related Pal names and images are © Pocketpair, Inc.
Where the data comes from
Being explicit about provenance matters more than looking authoritative, so here is exactly what is behind each number.
Verified game data — breeding combinations, Breed Power, gender ratios, stats, work suitabilities, passive ranks, effects and roll weights are derived from PalCalc by tylercamp (MIT licensed), pinned to a specific commit of its Palworld 1.0 dataset (v26). These are read out of the game files, not observed or guessed. Pages carrying the 1.0 Verified badge are built from this dataset: 299 Pals, 44,851 breeding combinations, 115 passives.
Our own analysis — the "best passives for X" recommendations, and the reachability verdicts next to each one (born with it / route it in / rare roll / impossible in 1.0), are derived by us from that verified data. They are a recommendation, not an official Pocketpair list, and every per-Pal page says so.
Community estimates — passive inheritance probabilities are community figures, not datamined values. They are labelled as estimates wherever they appear.
Player reports — the mutated eggs page is a report log collected from r/Palworld, not game data. The mutation table has never been datamined. That page deliberately carries no "1.0 Verified" badge, shows how many times each pair was seen, links the source thread, and leaves contradicting reports in rather than tidying them away. Treat it as a notebook, not a lookup table.
If you find a number on this site that disagrees with your own game, we want to hear about it — see Contact.
How to read the badges
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| 1.0 Verified · PalCalc v26 | Read directly from Palworld 1.0 game data |
| Player reports · not datamined | Crowd-sourced observations, counts matter, single sightings prove little |
| Estimate | Community figure, not an official value |
